• What's new with Facebook and the community?

  Everything! Facebook and this community are now friends.

  • If you're a Facebook user, you can connect your community profile and your Facebook account so that you can sign in to this community using your Facebook user name and password.
  • And you can make it automatic, too, so that the next time you sign in to Facebook, you can also sign in to the community.
  • Once your Facebook account and your community profile are connected, you can use your Facebook profile photo as your community avatar if you wish.
  • If you change your mind, you can disconnect the accounts and use your regular community login name and password to sign in.

• What's new with search?

  We've improved the way the Search feature works to make it both easier to use and to increase the relevance of search results.

  • Almost as soon you start typing a search term, the system suggests matching topics.
  • You can search for posts at any level in community, for knowledge base articles, or for users.
  • Filters on the left side of the search results page let you refine your results based on a variety of criteria: location, author, date, and others.
  • All of the results in a topic roll up into a single entry in the search results. In addition to search results in the first post of a topic, you can quickly view the replies that also contain your search term.
  • You can see loads of information about each result, including when the topic was started, the number of replies, the number of times it has been viewed, and the kudos count for the topic.
