I'll toss a nomination for AndrAia in here.  She's only been on for a couple of months, but with more than half as many kudos as she has posts, obviously she's been very helpfull!

Re: Newcomer of the Year

Hi everyone,

This is a new category and I totally overlooked a limitation of the system that perhaps eliminate some potential newcomers from being included in this cateogry.  The process that we have in place for getting Future Shop associates registered with "official" accounts involves a weekly upload of a spreadsheet with information on their location, years of service, etc for all active Future Shop employees.  When a new associate joins the company and their information gets uploaded to the Community, their account is automatically created.  So someone who joined the company in 2007 will have a Community start date of 2007 even if they didn't activate their account until 2009 (whch involves creating a username & starting to post).

So, in order to make sure that everyone is considered, please disregard the registration date, and use the date of their first post as when they started participating in the Community.

Thanks!!

Ah yes, I was a little taken aback by this.

Now that this has been cleared up, I would like to nominate Chris_B for newcomer of the year.

Re: Newcomer of the Year

In light of Laura's above comment, I'd like to make my nomination roparadi.  In the past few months, he has skyrocketted through the ranks and has amassed over 650 posts and a whole pile of kudos.  Soon, he'll be giving me a run for the money!  :smileyhappy:

Keep up the good work!

Re: Newcomer of the Year

Sorry for this last minute nomination but I thought I could nominate   for "Newcomer of the Year".

Even if he(I'm assuming the gender here, please correct me if I'm wrong) barely posted 10 messages in 2009, you can already see the potential for an amazing new member for this community.

So far, almost all of his posts are on topic, well written, informative, etc... The type of thing you would normally see from a Veteran, not a new member. Great job. I really hope you'll stay with us for the years to come:smileyhappy:.

Until next time,
Morfanos
