Future Shop & the sale of older PC software titles

[ Edited ]

Hey there, :smileyhappy:

I've noticed that unlike most other retailers, Future Shop usually has a lot more PC titles for purchase (:smileyvery-happy:) I've also noticed that older titles such as Titan Quest Gold Edition and Tomb Raider Anniversary are available as well.

Would it be possible for Future Shop to continue to order older titles from publishers? Such as Company of Heroes and the Opposing Fronts expansion, Assassin's Creed, or The Witcher Enhanced Edition? Would it be possible for a customer to request the management to do so?

If the product is still 'active' in the computer system, then you could have the store do a layaway on one for you and that will have a copy shipped as soon as the warehouse has one available.  If it's not in the inventory listing as active, then they can't order it from the store.  So I would suggest you talk to them at your local store to see if the specific products that you want are still active.

Re: Future Shop & the sale of older PC software titles

I was cleaning up my software department and I stumbled upon a $10 (as of April 15/2010) bundle pack that included Titan's Quest and the expansion and it made me think back to this thread.

So the Titan Quest should still be active in our system and if you're in the GTA, I'd be more than happy to put it on hold for you.

Let me know and good luck with the rest of your search!

I would like to see, DreamWorks Interactive "The Neverhood" (PC) '96 clay adventure game back on the shelves. It's been such a long time but the game is an epic classic and a masterpeice. I can still remember entering the store a long time ago and buying the game that would greatly influence my life.
