Future Shop is bringing the noise with the new musical instruments category starting this Friday, November 28!!

You can now find all you need to become a big deal rock star at futureshop.ca (well, except for talent... that we don't have for sale).  This department will only be available online and at the new Edmonton South store for launch.  Here's a look at some of the equipment that Future Shop will be carrying:

• Guitars
• Drums & percussion
• Keyboards
• Amps
• Home Recording
  
• PA equipment
• Accessories

And of course, the Community is here to help you connect with other musicians to share advice on everything from what amp will bring you the loudest sound to which drum kit will give you the biggest bang.

How-to Videos

A great way to demo your know-how is to upload a How-to Video and show Canada how to string a guitar, scratch a record or set up the sound system for a live show!

Huh, this is cool... if I ever have more time to play my guitar, I just might consider an upgrade!

That is sooo cool. But wait! Oh no! Guitars? Now I'm going to have to buy more of them to add to the 11 that I already own......my wallet is going to get thinner....

Seriously, that's great.  I'm sure I could help in this section. I aslo own a small recording studio so I kind of know my way around music gear.

Laura,

Please have the powers that be check the prices of some of the musical instrument stuff.  It's way over priced for some stuff and fair for others.  ie.  Line 6 POD X3 Live are probably $200+ too expensive.  Line 6 4x12 guitar cabinets are $300.00 too expensive. 

I could go on....

Just sayin'...

When will Future Shop have digital drums for sale? (e.g. Yamaha, Roland etc..)

We are now carrying the 3 different Yamaha kits in our south Edmonton store. You can only shop in store at this time for them though.  You can purchase whole kits or individual pieces.

Hi Laura!

I am trying to confirm that the Fostex PM 0.4 Nearfield Studio Monitor Speakers come packaged as a pair. It is not clear on the website.
