Brana,
Braveheart would be a highly collectible SteelBook. Even though it has been released this last year, it would have a larger demand to justify this sort of treatment as no other countries have done a SteelBook for it.
I'm sure anything you come up with will be a success this year. Look forward to all your updates for us.

Since future steelbook requests seem to be the norm on this thread, I thought I would express my steelbook wishes. I've got many on my wishlist, but I this is my top ten (more than 10):
1.) Shawshank Redemption
2.) Godfather I, II,
3.) LOTR (each individually w/ extended versions)
4.) Star Wars (again individually, original 3 with original theatrical version)
5.) Indiana Jones - orginal 3 to complete the Quadrilogy
6.) Saving Private Ryan
7.) Jaws (with an embossed "Bruce" the shark of course)
8.) Jurassic Park (also embossed, would look fantastic)
9.) Braveheart
10.) Aliens
Actually, now that I look at my list, I think all of them would look amazing with some form of embossing. FS has yet to release an embossed steelbook. I think that should be their next project.

Lotr should be released like Pirates of the Caribbean in 3 steelbooks.
Braveheart would be great on a steelbook. I would definitely buy that one.
Oh and any news on Avatar? Will that be a steelbook?

I'm pretty sure there were some DVD SteelBooks that were embossed. Wasn't TRANSFORMERS and THE JUNGLE BOOK embossed?

Not interested in DVD steelbooks, although I did buy Dead Snow DVD steelbook... Sweet Movie!

Cloverfield was also embossed... and the single greatest Steelbook ever released.
Shrek was embossed too I believe.

Hello Brana,
Welcome back to the movie department. I know that you will do great things, during this tour of duty.
Cheers

So Brana, could we get any insight into the rest of the Disney Blu's being released soonish?
Any chance of SB's for Princess and the Frog, Dumbo, and any other releases? I understand if Disney says no, but anything you could do to convince them otherwise would be great, as I'm sure you know there is huge support for the Disney Steelbooks from your customer base.
Also, I know you mentioned Toy Story 1 and 2 will not be done in Steelbook, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt if you could send another email off to Disney letting them know how much the collectors would enjoy it =) (Maybe in the same email you nudge them about any future releases in Steelbook?)

Welcome Brana ! ![]()
Awesome titles!
Lol at Gladiator is a **Bleep** transfer, I couldn't hold back and purchased it anyway.![]()
Good news is that apparently they are doing a remaster of Gladiator so it doesn't mess up their sales of the rest of their Sapphire Series.![]()
Don't know when it'll be available but I will be rebuying it and that would be sweet if it was a Steelbook.
It might not be available in Canada day and date with the U.S. like Gangs of New York Remastered isn't yet.
Also if all the Sapphire Series were available in SB that would rock!![]()
And I can't believe I'm going to say this but the Terminator Salvation Iron case looked nice even though the spine of it isn't nearly as strong but I liked that it didn't have the Blu ray stripe at the top.
Sorry guys don't hate me though I've sinned, but I preferred the Iron case over the regular plastic case.
I'm sure that the steelbook would have been better in quality though.
When at all possible I would prefer the SBs don't have the Bluray stripe at the top like the District 9 SB,
but that is a minor issue.
P.s. Will it be possible to get the re-release of a titles Steel book case only so we don't need to buy the whole movie again?
Thanks and good hunting.

That, sir, is an excellent idea.
Would Future Shop be able to retail SteelBooks only? Not sure if cost would be prohibitive if not subsidized by the studios. That would seem to be the only challenge.
